Shore Thing is a Barbershop Quartet whose members come from the Cape Cod Surftones, a chorus founded in 1975 as a chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society.  Our quartet began singing together in 2015 when the Surftones were contracted by a local resort to provide quartets to sing Christmas carols.  Although the four of us had not sung as a quartet prior to the caroling, we liked our sound so much that we decided to build a repertoire of our own.  Shore Thing now sings all over Cape Cod and southeastern Massachusetts.  Our repertoire includes uptunes and ballads encompassing songs from the days of vaudeville to modern times.

Lou Skinner, a retired aerospace engineer, is our lead; David Anthony, Property Manager for the Town of Barnstable, is our tenor; Dan Anthony, a music teacher at Nauset Regional High School, is our bass; and Dick Monheimer, a retired educator, is our baritone.  We are sure that our program will entertain and please any audience.

It would be our pleasure to sing for you.  If you would like more information, please contact us by email at [email protected] or by telephone at (617) 605‑9978.
